Infocomm Technology (Computing) & Robotics Club

In our infocomm modules, pupils go through the Games Development, Digital Art and Basic Animation Production Skills Workshop. This workshop provides a fun environment for the students to learn basic knowledge of digital art and animation process and game development through theory and hands on exercise with various tools like stop motion, MakeCode Arcade and Minecraft. Students will do detailed planning with the use of Storyboarding and learn different techniques using different tools to help edit their work.

Through the Robotics Modules, pupils develop their programming skills progressively. During the CCA sessions, pupils work in teams to develop their robots and programming skills through accomplishing the challenges and missions assigned to them. Beyond honing their skills in Robotics, pupils also learn other invaluable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and resilience as they work on their challenges.

• To develop pupils’ competency in using a variety of multimedia tools to produce quality project work based on specific themes given.

• To foster creativity and problem-solving skills in our pupils as they work together in a team to solve challenges.

• To provide a platform for pupils to apply their programming skills and logical thinking to create solutions to solve Robotic missions.

• To impart and nurture our pupils the values of teamwork, responsibility and leadership. Through working together, pupils will foster a stronger friendship among themselves.
